In order to carry forward the spirit of labor, educate and guide students to advocate labor, respect labor, and develop the habit of loving labor, on October 14, the institute invited Professor Meng Guozhong of Nanjing Forestry University to bring the first lesson of Labor Education Course—“Labor Education in the New Era and Campus Culture” for the 2020 freshmen.
Professor Meng Guozhong started from three aspects: why carry out labor education, what is labor, and how to carry out labor education. Starting from the reality of students' life, combined with students' interests, from simple to deep, Meng emphasized that labor not only created wealth, but also brought up talents. Labor was the color of struggle, and labor was also a kind of responsibility. It guided students to learn to take care of themselves, to be independent, and to plan well during the university time.
Through this course, the students benefited a lot. After class, they asked questions actively. Professor Meng and President Li Min gave detailed answers and guidance. This class enhanced the students' labor awareness，making them more deeply understand the meaning of labor, and understand ing that labor is not only a kind of dedication, but also a kind of sharing!
