On the afternoon of October 2nd, the first class for 2020 freshmen of International Joint Audit Institute was held in lecture Hall 112 of the School of Training and Education. Dean Li Min, Deputy Dean Zhang Wenxiu and Wang Jing and all the teachers and students attended the activity. Liang Xiaoshu, the student administrator hosted the activity.

Li Min gave a class named "The First Lesson of the New Term: Our Original Aspiration”. Starting from the review of education, he introduced the development process of China's higher education and put forward the development trend of higher education and the requirements of the future society for talents. Against this background, he pointed out that the ultimate goal of education was to live a happy life and have a successful career. Dean Li Min emphasized the institutional innovation of the institute, and stated how should teachers teach, how should students learn, and how to manage. He hoped that students could make change on time and adapt to college life as soon as possible.

Zhang Wenxiu's first class was entitled "Learn to Learn". She inspired students to think deeply about how to set goals andlive a fulfilling four-year college life. She introduced in detail the characteristics of the talent training plan and curriculum construction of the four programs of the institute, and focused on the guidance of research-oriented teaching and learning.

Wang Jing used typical examples to introduced the theme of "Growth in University ". She guided the students to deal with the relation among the past, present and future; self, others and society; ethics, discipline and legal; and called on the students to grasp the present,and be young students with ideal, competence and responsibility in the new era.

 Later, Tan Jie, Zhu Mingjie and other teachers from the Sports and Art Department introduced the setting of optional courses and club courses. Liang Xiaoshu introduced the institute's Communist Youth League Committee, student union organization structure, volunteer recruitment plan, and recent student activity plan.

It was reported that starting from the online parents' meeting on September 9, the entrance education for new students of the institute had successively completed a series of educations, such as professional education, safety education, school situation education, school history education, school discipline and school rules education, campus facilities and culture education. The activity of the first class of the new term further pointed out the direction of growth in university and development for the freshmen, and laid a good foundation for promoting students' independent learning and self-management capability.
